The Network@Texprocess presentation platform for IT companies almost fully booked up

IT systems are becoming increasingly important in the apparel industry. In this modern age of fast fashions, fashion companies can use them to accelerate processes, reduce costs and improve quality. The exhibitors making presentations at Texprocess, Leading International Trade Fair for Processing Textile and Flexible Materials, in Frankfurt am Main from 24 to 27 May 2011 include the market leaders for IT solutions in the textile-processing sector. Aimed primarily at small to medium-sized companies, the information stands of the Network@Texprocess IT market place are already almost fully booked up. Altogether, around 60 IT companies will exhibit at the sector’s new leading international trade fair.

These exhibitors present IT solutions for pattern design, product lifecycle management, enterprise resource planning systems, the trade and internal and external logistics processes. The high-tech systems help, inter alia, to accelerate the production process, cut costs and optimise fit. The trends include 3D visualisation, 3D body scanning and RFID technology.

Texprocess from 24 to 27 May 2011 covers the entire textileprocessing value chain. Market leaders present the latest machines, plant, processes and services for the apparel and textile-processing industry. The conceptual partner of Texprocess is VDMA Garment and Leather Technology. The leading international trade fair for textile processing is aimed at specialists from the fields of apparel manufacturing, textile processing and technical-textile processing, as well as the trade, handicrafts, service providers and the science and training sectors. The processors of technical textiles come from the automobile, aerospace, upholstery, mattress, packaging and industrial-safety sectors. Techtextil, International Trade Fair for Technical Textiles and Nonwovens, will be held parallel to Texprocess from 24 to 26 May 2011.
